DUE FRIDAY APRIL 25, 2014
Discuss your Spring Break vacation. What did you do? What did you plan to do? Did you accomplish everything you set out to accomplish? Since the spring is generally symbolic of a rebirth or renewal, is there something that you plan on changing about yourself for the remainder of the school year? As usual, a minimum of 2 detailed paragraphs is required.
I didn’t really expect much to accomplish during spring break and getting bronchitis didn’t help much at all. During Friday I visited my friend’s house with a couple of other people and we watched "Sharknado". Yeah… For the rest of the break, I had planned to just relax and play some video games or catch up a on a few TV shows. It was pretty terrible for the first few days. I couldn’t do much at all and I had to miss track practice as well. It wasn’t until around Wednesday that I actually started getting better. During that period of illness, though, I did get to watch a few shows, mainly the original Pokémon anime and a few episodes of "Doctor Who". I also got to play Pokémon Silver on an emulator. When I did get better, my schedule didn’t change much.
ReplyDeleteI decided to try and finish reading "The Shining". I am getting close to the end of it and overall it’s a good book. Besides catching up on the other shows mentioned, I also started two new ones. I started watching "American Horror Story" and "Attack on Titan". Both good shows that I recommend watching. As for the homework that I had to do, I did your homework Sunday and my biology project yesterday. It was due today too. One thing I do need to change about myself is to stop procrastinating. It’s a bad habit and my life would be easier if I stopped doing so. That’s the main reason I am doing the blog right now. One thing that I regret from this break is trying to do a nuzlocke run of my Pokémon White game. It was hard and frustrating and I failed at the second gym. For those of you who don’t know what a nuzlocke is, it’s just a set of rules to make the game harder. There are three rules: 1. you can only catch the first pokémon you encounter in a route. If the pokémon faints or flees, there are no second chances. 2. If one of your pokémon faints, it is considered dead and must be released or stored in the PC box. 3. (Optional) All pokémon must be nicknamed so the player makes a bond with it. I did that on the last day of spring break and it wasn’t worth it. I guess I’ve had better spring breaks, but at least with this one I got to watch two new shows.
Sounds like a decent break - I love both "American Horror Story" and "Attack on Titan." Solid shows.

My spring break was pretty normal. It was just a normal regular week. My cousin’s 31st birthday was on Monday the 14th, so that was pretty fun. We went out on Sunday the day before his birthday and then on his birthday we just had a simple cake and sang Happy Birthday. On Tuesday I slept over a friend’s house and we did make overs and watched YouTube videos. That was fun. Then the rest of the week was pretty normal and fun. I watched some of my favorite shows, such as Full House. I didn’t really have any shows to catch up on. There was nothing really that I wanted to accomplish except catch up on sleep, and that was great.
I also made Easter eggs on Friday. That was absolutely fun because my sister and I actually were able to have a real bonding moment for about two hours. We never really get to just hang out and bond so that was fun. There really isn’t anything that I would like to change about myself for the remainder of the school year except study real hard and pass for the year. That’s the main thing that I plan to accomplish by the end of the school year. I also plan on trying to get along more with my mom and maybe that’ll kind of help me focus more on my school work.
Try to replace the word "fun" with a synonym.
DeleteThis spring break I didn’t do much. Only accomplishment I completed over break was catching up on sleep. I didn’t do anything of interest. I did plan on playing some sports and maybe even going to an amusement park, but my break did not turn out like that. I did however play soccer twice, but that was the only major thing I did over break.
ReplyDeleteOnce back from break I realized a couple of things. All that time doing nothing over break I realized what I have to do in school. I got my backpack ready the day before school so this way I can start fresh and organized. This week in school is tough because I feel tired and every unfocused but I am trying my best in doing my work and staying awake.
For my spring break I did absolutely boring. All spring break I was mostly over my friend’s house every single day from 7 in the morning to 10 at night. I played Grand Theft Auto 5 most of the time . the other half of my time I spent it sleeping. I spent most of my time in doors because it was somewhat cold outside to do anything such as go walk around or go to the mall. I personally would have loved to be outside all day and I wanted to accomplish more fun things that what I actually did. Hopefully next spring break would be better and not so cold.
ReplyDeleteOn a sadder note, I had a go away party for my grandparents and I had to help them pack up so they can move. Sadly, they are leaving all of their family in New Jersey to move 697 miles away to South Carolina. For me it is a bitter sweet feeling. I don’t want them to leave but at the same time they are really happy and excited to move and who am I to be a nag about it. Plus, we can always go visit them and it’s not like I am never going to see them. After all that happened I want to change my grades and really do better so maybe one day I can move there to. I have been doing ok but since it is the end of the year I believe that everyone should step up and do what they have to do this last marking period. Out of everything my spring break had its ups and its downs but overall it was nice getting a break from school.
My Spring Break was relatively tedious. I got no motivation to actually get up and do anything most of the time. I stayed up in my room almost every day watching TV, reading, going on YouTube, or texting. Although, my unmotivated style came later in the Spring Break, for the first half of break I actually accomplished some things I planned on. At the beginning of break I planned to finish up some of the artwork I was working on. I also wanted to clean my room, and get exercise by going outside every day. I didn’t finish up all my artwork I was working on, but instead, I started new projects while working on them which still satisfied my goal. I got a lot more exercise than I thought I would for the first half of break, but ended up getting lazy and barely going outside for the last few days. I cleaned my room, but left it hideous looking up until the second-to-last-day of break; because I had to so my friend could come over.
ReplyDeleteI do plan on changing myself for the rest of the school year. I have realized that sooner or later my laziness will catch up to me, and I don’t want to start gaining weight. I have decided to set up a pedometer on my phone; it will help me reach my goal of about seven thousand steps a day. I decided on walking a certain path around town for some days; and then other days going to the park to get exercise. I want to start working out and have found weights around the house. Even though the weights are not heavy enough for me, I will still use them, as I have placed them in a convenient spot in my room for me. I have artwork that I am working on out on my desk; I want to make sure I work on it instead of tossing it aside and forgetting about it. I plan to keep my room clean, and not leave it to the last seconds to clean it. Every day at some point I should clear the scraps in my room, instead of letting them build up to only create a mess.
Over spring break this year I didn’t accomplish as much as I planned to do. Since I am on the track team, I had track practice every day. I also had a meet on Wednesday against Cardinal McCarrick and Timothy Christian. The girls and boys from Dunellen won! As of right now we’re undefeatable with an overall record of 9-0. I made my first 4 varsity points from doing the 400 meter and 100 meter hurdles. Also, on Saturday I was invited to compete in the invitational relays in Hillsborough. There were many big and talented schools also competing there, therefor we all tried are best. We didn’t win as many medals as usual, however we broke a couple school records.
ReplyDeleteMy plan for spring break was to go on a vacation maybe or just go somewhere fun for one day. Although, my parents aren’t in the best financial situations right now and we can’t really afford to go on a vacation. However, my mom and brothers did take a trip to the beach, but I wasn’t able to go because I had track practice and after had work. I work at a little karate place on route 22. It might not have been the spring break I expected but I enjoyed relaxing for a week and hanging out with friends at a kickback.
I diidn't really plan on doing anything over spring break. During the week I just stayed home played video games and watched movies. I couldn't go to the beach or anywere else because I had a game every day. During the games it was fun to to play hit the ball and vers real teams. We over all won most of the games but we did lose some also. When I wasn't watching movies or playing baseball I was hanging out with my friends. On the weekend thou I went to the beach with my cousins that are in college. We partied are harts out.
ReplyDeleteI didn't really do any thing except have fun so no I didn't accomplish anything. I don't plan on changing anythink about myself school wise for the rest of the year I just plan on being myself and surviving till summer vacation.I plan on get good grades for the fourth marking period and going to tenth grade next year.

My spring break was completely uneventful. It can be described as M&M. This stand for Masters and Minecraft, which is all my spring break consisted of. The first 2 days of spring break (and the last 2 days before spring break) I was at the Masters in Augusta, Georgia. Although it was interesting, the entertainment value of golf is limited. I enjoyed watching professionals play, but I read a book a lot. We sat at the 11th, 16th, 5th, and 4th holes mostly. I will say, though, that the food and drinks at the Masters were awesome. I don’t say this for the taste but rather the prices. The most expensive sandwich there was $3! Other sandwiches were $1.50 and $2.50. The drinks were also only $1.50, even beer was only $3 and imported beer was $4, the most expensive item sold (besides merchandise). After we got back from the Masters, my parents and I, I played Minecraft at home. That is mostly all I did at home. I would wake up and play Xbox 360 Minecraft, then eat meals and continue playing. I was pretty much obsessed. At night I would watch YouTube and watch the videos of the youtubers I like that posted videos. It might have been a waste of my spring break, but I definitely enjoyed playing Minecraft and the Masters was a cool new experience. So it was a good spring break, just mundane.
I never really planned out my spring break; I wasn’t like “alright Monday I read, Tuesday I go to a pool, Wednesday I go to Disney World, Thursday I go to Dorney Park…” I just did what I decided I wanted on each day. I guess I had planned that I would go to the Masters and I would play video games. Both of which I did do because the plane ticket to the Masters had already been bought and for 7 days there was no way I wasn’t playing a video game. Also, I had planned to go to Track and Field. This was also fulfilled because I only missed one day of track during spring break, and it was because I went to the Masters. I had kind of planned to go swimming, but that did not happen. My family didn’t have time to go to a pool or want to go to a pool, and it was too cold. I had also planned to go golfing after I had gone to the Masters, but we didn’t have time, my brother and I in particular because we had track at 3 o’clock, right in the middle of the day. Also, it was too cold most of the days to golf. It was basically winter break part 2, that’s how cold it was (for spring anyway). So I set out to accomplish watching the Masters, play video games, watch YouTube, play golf, and go swimming. I accomplished most of these activities but not all. But most importantly I wanted to accomplish enjoying my spring break, and that I definitely accomplished that.
During spring break I did not reach some mental realization to change my ways or become a new man. I honestly don’t think I will change myself just because of spring break. I will change my habits of going to bed at 1 or 2 in the morning for the rest of the year. I started that poor sleep habit just like I did during spring break, but now that spring break is done I will change my sleep schedule to stop going to bed at 2 in the morning. I also plan to stop eating as much chocolate. Since Easter has passed I got a lot of chocolate and candy. Once my supply runs dry I plan on not eating nearly that much chocolate for the rest of the year. For something I plan to change about myself for school is my homework schedule. For essays in Biology I used to like to wait until 9 o’clock the night before it was due to start. I have started to change that to starting earlier and earlier in the day, but with track now from 3 pm to 5 pm, sometimes later, I need to change. So I plan on doing big assignment earlier than before the day the assignment is due.

ReplyDeleteThis Spring Break, I didn’t have much planned to do. For the last couple of Spring Breaks, I usually left New Jersey, so it was different not to do anything. All I wanted to do for Spring Break was to sleep all day, clean my room, watch YouTube videos, finishing reading my book “An Abundance of Katherines” by John Green and do my baby project for biology. For the most part, I accomplished all these things except finishing my book, but now I am more than halfway done with it. I also watched a lot of John Cusack movies and saw “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” in theaters. However, my family started getting sick during the week, so I had to avoid getting the flu the entire time. I also had to help watch my cousin’s daughter, who is only two years old, which could you expect to be a handful and very stressful. Besides that, my small break was very mundane, quiet and relaxing.
ReplyDeleteI accomplished all the small goals I set for myself during Spring Break and I hope to fulfill everything I have planned for the rest of the school year. I want to stop being lazy and finish “An Abundance of Katherines” so, start reading the zombie romance novel “Warm Bodies” which is about a zombie who falls in love with a girl. The storyline is supposed to make several allusions to William Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” which makes it more intriguing for me. I loved the movie and have wanted to read the book for a while now. I also want to keep my grades up in school and get all A’s for the fourth marking period. Even though it is the end of the year, it is important that I continue to do well in all my classes, especially biology since it is the class I struggle the most in. I know it easy for me to lose interest and focus in my school work as the school year is coming to an end. Therefore, it is important for me to stop getting easily distracted, so I can start work harder and concentrate. However, I am looking forward for the weeks to come, when the amount of school work slowly decreases and “The Fault in Our Stars” movie comes out.
During Spring break there weren’t many plans that I had in mind. Mainly my plan was to go to tennis practice, win my challenge match for that week and try to relax and not worry about much. Those were my goals for spring break, as well as accomplishing the homework’s given over break. In addition there was a slight goal to gain back my power that I lost after some idiot cut down a tree in front of us and pulled down my electricity wires. When the wires were pulled down the people that were doing it left the scene as quick as they could and got away before my brother or I could catch the name of those people. Unfortunately I had to use a generator for the past three days and finally on Wednesday night the power was returned after PSE&G fixed the wires to my house.
ReplyDeleteFurthermore in Spring break I accomplished my baby bio project which was actually quite interesting to do. Moreover, sadly I lost my challenge match in tennis which ruined my plan for this season. I was hoping to go undefeated and hopefully when I ended tennis season I would only be a few spots away from varsity. But now I was backtracked due to this lost. All in all spring break was me sleeping a lot, going to tennis and hanging out with friends, nothing to excited.
My vacation wasn’t very interesting all I did was stay home and slept the whole break off. But, I did go to my aunt’s house for Easter and it was a nice change for the break but other than that I just stayed home. I played on my laptop the whole time also just playing games like Garry’s mod and other games. You think an xbox one will keep you entertained but there was nothing to play because nothing good came out. So overall nothing of interest happened on my vacation so I have little to say. It was very sunny though and it was sometimes windy and cold. I really hate windy weather I find it annoying and spring didn’t feel like spring it felt like fall but without the dying plants.

My spring break vacation went pretty, well a few ups and downs but it all turned out to be fascinating. I went to my cousin’s house for Easter as we celebrated with relatives and there we played sports such as basketball and soccer. Getting to reunite with my cousins was great especially since the whole family decided to jump in to play a game of basketball. We ate and watched some movies on Netflix during the night of Easter. I also started to watch an anime called Attack on Titan that was recommended to me by Mrs. Ell and so far I’m enjoying the series. I know I have to get caught up on the series since I basically just started on about a few episodes. During spring break I played some video games to let time fly by and it eventually worked out. I watched some games of soccer and some results did not go my way and it was a terrible week for one of my favorite teams but I know we will rise back up.
During spring break I planned on going to the park to play soccer with my friends but I couldn’t as I had some other stuff to do. I also planned on going to visit my cousins in Long Island, who I visited last summer and it turned out to be a great experience. I remember sleeping over there for about a week and we would play some soccer, eat ice cream, go to the movies, play video games, and watch the fireworks on the 4th of July. I hope next year’s spring break will be better than this year’s but at least I got some rest from school to be ready to go back to school the following week.
During my time spent while on spring break, it mostly consisted of Netflix, reading and lots of tea. But there were some places that I got to see during the break. For instance, I went to go visit the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Virginia. What a great experience it was, it captured a lot of the work and dedication that the United States Marine Corps did for country. I thought it was interesting when a sergeant told me that every year they add something new to the museum. Besides Virginia, the next big event that I had was an Easter BBQ that my aunt and her boyfriend put together for the family.
ReplyDeleteIf I plan to change something about myself for the remainder of the school year, it would probably have to be my attitude towards everything in general. I tend to have a tendency to always procrastinate, make it seem as if I don’t care when I do. Basically I want to graduate from Dunellen with some good memories, no regrets, and not stressed. Inside me I want to know that I actually tried my hardest to get to where I want to go. And to have a positive mindset on everything.
During spring break, I didn't do much, but I still enjoyed it. I needed that break from school, and it helped. All I really did over spring break, was go to track practice everyday and just hang out with friends. I also played some soccer. I sadly didn;t have any soccer games that weekend because of the Easter, but at least my team still got to practice. On Wednseday, I had a track meet where I did pretty decent, but could still use some work. And on Saturdsay, I was invited to run in the invitational relays in Hillsborough. But over break I just enjoyed my time with some friends and had a good time. Technically, I guess I did accomplish everything that I wanted to do since I didn't really have a lot planned. I just wanted to stay focused on my sports, and enjoy myself.
ReplyDeleteIf I have to change myself in a way over break, I would probably say that I should try to remain more focused on school. I have periods where I do great in school, and moments where I do the comlete opposite. So, I hope that I can keep reaching my academic goals without any troubles, problems, or set backs.

This spring break I did nothing, literally. I wanted to get all my absent work done so I could go back to school and hand everything in. I wanted to go to my grandmother’s house and visit the rest of my family. I wanted to play my PlayStation 3 with my friends and talk about Grand Theft Auto all night. I wanted to get new headphones to listen to music. I wanted to do a lot of things, but none of them happened, and in some cases the exact opposite happened. How ironic, right? Originally, my father was supposed to come and pick me up and we would hang out. But he couldn’t come. So then I wanted to go visit my friends and maybe go visit places with them. But I didn’t have any money, and I didn’t have a ride because my parents worked the majority of spring break, or they were out doing something important. With no money, that means no new headphones either. But all was well because I had my PlayStation to resort to. I would be more than fine to come back to school and say I played ps3 all spring break. But even that was out of the option when my ps3 broke, out of nowhere. It would break when I needed it the most.
Pretty early in my spring I knew that this break was going to be a waste for me because I wasn’t going to do much. So when I found out that there was nothing for me to do I spent a of time sleeping. Even when I wasn’t tried, I would just lay around. But with all this free time I had plenty of time to think, which was helpful and harmful at the same time. But even though I didn’t do much, I still enjoyed the time to relax, so I guess I can’t complain too much. But if there was anything I probably should have done was all the things I needed to do but I didn’t want to do like cleaning.
ReplyDeleteOver spring break i did absolutely nothing but play sports and try to sleep. The only goal that I had set for myself was to sleep in every day. Lets just say, I didn't even come close to reaching my goal. I was plagued with practice everyday and I didn't get a break until easter weekend! It didn't help that the teachers piled on the homework. Its called a break for a reason so the teachers should give their students one. I had no time to do what I wanted to do and it was slightly depressing.
Spring symbolises birth and renewal, I have one thing planned for myself, and that is to stick up for myself more. People can be pushed and shoved so much till it begins to boil over. I plan on speaking my mind and no longer being bossed and a scapegoat. I plan on defending myself and putting people in there place if they need to be placed. But overall I dont have any real goals set for myself.
ReplyDeleteMy spring break in the end was pretty fun. It started off boring because the first couple days I had the same routine I would wake up around nine in the morning and absolutely do nothing. But what I did do is finish some shows on netflix and I started to watch Prison Break. My whole day consisted of watching tv and walking around my house wondering what I could do. Not until I started to hanging out with my old friends was it fun.
When my friends started to call me too hang out I felt alive. It was as if I was a Zombie walking around home alone. I went to a Sweet 16 and chilled with my friends. Then the next day surprisingly we were awake early and we went to a park and played with water balloons. It was probably the coldest day of our spring break but it was fun. Then we played soccer for a while and when we got tired we went to go eat. I was practically not home for 2 days but it was fun anyways.
This spring break wasn't as good as I thought it would end up. I really didnt get to do much but play soccer. I played soccer most of the days which was great because there would be much longer soccer sessions. I also had track practice which basically took up all of my time. I never got to do anything. I would wake up early and literally just chill since I had no school. I wanted to go to New York with two of my friends but I never had the chance to do so because I had a game which ruined everything. I also missed one track meet because I had to travel to New York and face #3 and #4 seed in all of MAPS which was bad because the referee's sucked and we were missing 3 of our defenders. we tied one game and lost the other. It was a big fail. I got to hangout with some friends and relaxed most of the days.
ReplyDeleteThis spring break was also good since I was able to escape school for more than a week. I needed a break from it so I could perform better in school and bring my grades up since I have been stressing a whole lot lately. This break made me realize that I have top begin completing everything if I ever want to go to college and become successful. I need to become a great student. This break also gave me time to work on some of my things that I have been writing and couldn't complete since I had no time. Spring Break was alright but it was a tease.

I had plans for this years spring break, but none of them became a reality :( . I had plans of going upstate with my two friends and do stuff I never have done. But those plans were foiled by track. I had track practice every day of spring break, and that got in the way of my hopes dreams. I also had the hopes to go see a movie that I have been wanting to see for a while, but I couldn't go see it because I forgot to clean my room, so my parents didn't take me to go see it. So many things got in the way of what I wanted.

I didn’t have any plans for spring break except for Friday night. On Friday night from 8-12 I went with my friends Mai and Kim to I play America to an even called Magcon. Magcon is an event with a bunch on vine famous people and it’s really hard to explain, but I saw all of them but didn’t meet them, because it is insane. For example, there was too much pushing and shoving and to many girls lost their phones, and got hurt and one girl lost her shoe somehow. The rest of my spring break just consisted of going to the park with my friends every day, and going out and just hanging out. It was a really relaxed spring break for me, but I enjoyed it. I also spent a majority of my spring break watching YouTube videos. For example o2l, Cameron Dallas and Nash Grier and Jake Miller’s music videos. I also spent a lot of time and on my phone. I went to the mall with my grandma, and to a few store with my mom as well.
My Easter was a very fun as well. It all started when I woke up, I got a stuffed animal and candy from my parents and grandparents. Then at around 3:35 we went to my aunt’s hose but they live in Dunellen as well so it wasn’t a long car ride. We ate ham, turkey, potatoes, and salad. We also had a bunny carrot cake, and a cake to celebrate my cousin’s boyfriends birthday. We also celebrated my grandparent’s 51st annivearsy, it was last minute (everyone forgot about it). It was fun to be with my family and I had a good time. And then Monday came and I just did my Homework I forgot to do, and that was basically my whole spring break.
As per usual, my spring break was not something you'd write home about. Really, it wasn't. It was basically a weeks worth of non-stop sleeping interrupted by relatively short intervals of being awake for baseball. And that’s it. I swear, that is it. And, honestly, that’s all I planned to do. Things to accomplish, well, I wouldn't say I actually set out to accomplish anything. Because I didn't.
ReplyDeleteSo, I guess I did accomplish everything I set out to accomplish. If you set out to accomplish nothing and do nothing worth accomplishment, doesn’t that mean you accomplished not accomplishing anything? But than again, that would be accomplishing something, and to accomplish nothing, you have to literally accomplish nothing, and literally speaking, I did accomplish one thing, but then that makes my accomplishing nothing accomplishment void, as I would have actually failed to accomplish not accomplishing nothing. But that would mean that I did accomplish it by it being un-accomplishable?
I dunno. Ask Sigmund Freud or something.
Any who, that was my break. Baseball, [no] beer, and sleep. And though spring is symbolic to rebirth, the only thing I really am going to strive to change is the fact that I do not complete my homework on time, if at all. So, for the remainder of the school year, I will try my darndest to get all of it done, mark my word, or my name ain't Wazowski!
(It is that, I swears on me mum.)
During spring break vacation, I stayed in Marathon, Florida for seven days. I enjoyed the time I had there, a lot! I was able to use my passion for photography to take hundreds of pictures of goose bump causing scenery and exotic creatures. My family and I lived in a house on the water which included an in ground pool which we used every day due to the high percentages of humidity and heat. While we were in Marathon, Florida, we spent a couple days at the beach, swam with dolphins at a dolphin research center, visited a turtle hospital, snorkeled, and jet skied. When I returned home from my vacation, I spent the rest of the days off walking around with friends.
ReplyDeleteSince the spring break is generally symbolic of a rebirth or renewal, there is something that I plan on changing about myself for the remainder of the school year. I plan on putting as much effort and determination in this last marking period. I want to end the year off with positive vibes and beneficial results from school work. I would also like to continue to get better a softball before the season ends. Besides these two points, I wouldn’t want to change anything else. I am for the most part satisfied with everything else going on in my life as of now.
ReplyDeleteSpring Break, for me, is mostly about relaxing, and taking a recharge from the constant barrage of schoolwork. During the week off, I didn’t travel anywhere, or do all that much interesting or noteworthy. Mostly, read, finishing “Different Seasons” by Stephen King and starting “Nightmares and Dreamscapes” also by Stephen King, have fun by hanging out with some of my friends. and relaxed. Like I said prior, not much happened.
My friend Calvin also started me on a webcomic called “Homestuck”. Apparently, it is the longest work of fiction in the English language so far. Divided into 6 acts so far, the writer, Andrew Hussey, has been on a hiatus for a while, but is finishing the last act now, and will conclude the story soon. I took the time over spring break to think about what I wanted to do with my life. I suppose going on a college visit with my sister jarred me into thinking: don’t have that much time left until I’m an adult. I have been narrowing down careers, but nothing concrete so far. Right now, I have to worry about school, and making the grade.
Spring break was pretty amazing this year. I started off spring break by going to down the shore for the weekend to go get my sun on. We had some fun there, not going in the water though because although it was warm out, the water was not. There was one kid down there that thought it would be a good idea to try it, which he quickly regretted. During the week I had track at 3 everyday, which kind of killed my relaxation vibe, but I dealt with it. On the Friday before we went back, I went to Six Flags with some friends. Halfway home I got sick from all the rides, but I still had fun. The coaches were not too happy that I skipped practice for six flags so they made me do the sprinters' workout and miss the next meet but it was totally worth it.
ReplyDeleteAs far as changing when I came back from spring break, I definitely did, only not in a good way. I kind of just gave up on school when I got back. I was just tired of it all, but now I'm starting to make up some work and pull it back together. I got a taste of summer and now I can not let it go. I do not think that I have anything above a c in any of my classes, but luckily we still have a month and a half of school left.
My spring break didn't occured in a fantastic way. About two days before springbreak started, I cought the flu and bronchitis. I went to the doctors on Sunday and they told me to stay home the whole week. I wasn't able to do anything because I was in pain and I couldn't talk. The break also went by really fast because most of the times, I wasn't concious when I'm on my bed. Before the break started, I planned on finishing all of my work, settle my situations about college and my future, and have some fun after wards, but sadly nature dislikes me so they gave me a flu.
ReplyDeleteSince springbreak is the symbol of rebirth, the most important change I want to provide to myself is about working harder and not losing focus often. Ever since my Senior year started, I stopped working as hard as I did the past three years. I was overwhelmed by amounts of homework, college research, getting a car, license, apartments, and family situations. Although, If I was able to manage my time and be patient when I handle my problens, I would have to deal with less conflicts than what I have now. If I have the power to change, I would try my hardest to finish my work and also be courageous enough to step up and reach for what a truly need to accomplish.
