experience disappoint one person but delight another? Happiness is not an
accident but a choice.
Happiness is an emotion every human
being has experienced to a certain degree in his life. Is happiness
something over which people have no control, or can people choose to be
happy? In 2 well-constructed paragraphs, develop your point of view on this
issue. Use specific examples and details while displaying what happiness implies
to you.

Research Paper Tips

Start each of your body paragraphs with a clear
TOPIC SENTENCE – this should relate to one of your three reasons from the
thesis
b.
Use at least two pieces of support per paragraph
c.
When using a fact or quote, you need to
introduce with a signal phrase, such as “According to…” or “Research suggests”
etc
d.
Explain each fact and how you are using it – for
every line/sentence of evidence, you should use 2 lines/sentences of your own
as explanation
e.
CITE all facts, even the ones paraphrased – there
should be two citations minimum per paragraph
f.
Drafts without citations will not be graded
until citations are added – a paper without citations is a 0 (plagiarism)
